Very clever idea to arrange the windowpanes as a tic-tac-toe. The muted tones are very fitting for the image, although they might profit from some extra contrast. In terms of suggestions: try a different cropping, with the dark panes being on the diagonal (two top spots), which might add dynamic to the composition. |

I'm commenting on the revised image, where you incorporated Bob's suggestions. In this new version I don't see anything to improve, except a little more room at the bottom, as per Kirsti's comment. The curves provide a beautiful frame for the person walking up the ramp, with the round lights at the bottom of the wall guiding the viewer to him from the lower right corner. I like the muted tones and that everything is tack sharp. |

I find the image interesting but perhaps too busy, which is to be expected from Spanish Moss. It is good that you have the white house in the background as a focal point, which provides a contrast to the trees and their shadows. I didn't see the color version, but B&W looks like the right choice for this image. |

I got hungry from looking at the photo! It is a very well framed scene that puts the viewer in the middle of the Christmas market. The main subject, the vendor, is correctly lit and has a nice expression on his face. I don't mind so much the lights at the top, but I would take the white dots out of the customer's jacket. How could this photo have been better? Maybe if you had gotten a glimpse of the customer's face, but this is easier said than done. |

A very interesting image that tells a story. I agree with others that cropping some from the right and a little from the bottom will place the firefighter in a more powerful spot. For the rest, I like the effect produced by the sun filtering through the smoke. |

Nice composition, with the large iceberg in the foreground somehow replicated by the smaller iceberg in the background. You managed to get good texture on the big iceberg with the grooved triangular chunk. The penguins, although very tiny, are noticeable on the iceberg and provide a point of interest. The hues are almost monochromatic, but this is Antarctica. Have you tried converting the image to B&W? |
