26 Oct 23 Comment A very nice backlight treatment. I found your going to B&W and then adding warm tones very interesting (I wouldn't have thought of that!). Perfect composition, where the highlights of the window contribute to the whole picture. You are concerned with the noise, but I enlarged the image a lot and couldn't detect much. Oct 10th
26 Oct 23 Comment I don't have anything to add to this wonderful image. I like the contrast between the trees bathed by the sunlight and the dark rock where they are standing. I wouldn't change the composition, since the dark trees in the background contribute to enhance the main subject. Oct 10th
26 Oct 23 Comment Beautiful colors, and the lady sitting on the bench gives a feeling of calmness. The composition is very good, with the curved river flowing from the top right to the bottom right. The trunk also contributes to the composition, providing a frame to the scene. My first comment is that I find the photo over-sharpened; one can see halos around her and in the dark spots on the river and the plants. Maybe this is a result of the lower resolution required for the jpeg, and it is not present in the larger original. Another comment is that I have the feeling that the picture is tilted to the right. The trunk looks straight, so it's maybe just me or the effect caused by the flow of the river. Oct 10th
26 Oct 23 Comment A beautiful picture with a lot of feeling. One can see the interaction between the girl and her cat, and how she is enjoying life despite her difficulties. I agree with Kirsti's suggestion for a tighter cropping: it still tells the story of the girl in a wheelchair, but it's not so intrusive. Good decision to convert it to B&W. Oct 10th
26 Oct 23 Comment Interesting use of the drone, to get above the crowd. I prefer the vertical crop, which brings the mill to a power point. You improved the colors a lot with your five exposures and the post-processing. They are a little too vivid, but still not unnatural. The treatment on the water looks good, and it gives a nice balance to the main subject. My eyes flow from the mill, through the rocks, and to the water. I imagine that a couple of weeks later the colors were fantastic! Oct 10th
