I tend to crop tight, but in this case the extra space adds context to the image, which to me looks very balanced despite the large empty space on the left. Even without your explanation I would have guessed that the photo was taken in Iceland: it has all the elements of the country. Maybe Bob is right, and you need to darken a little the white snow on the left, but I don't find it particularly distracting. |

In the good old slide days, this was called a sandwich. And one could get astonishing images, as you did it here. I like the subtlety of the composition, and that one can still distinguish the bud and the butterfly behind the curtain. You produced the right tones. Nothing to add to improve the picture. |

The vertical B&W is a huge improvement of the original. Now the viewer focuses on the bridge, without distracting elements. The clouds add to the image, but maybe there are too many. I agree with Tony that you could get rid of the one in the middle. I would crop not so much from both sides, to have some extra space to bring the buildings perfectly straight at the borders.

When I first saw the photo, I liked it a lot; even before noticing the man. With him, you have elevated the composition several notches. I like the curved lines converging in the seating man wearing a mask, which tells a story. The toning is perfect, except perhaps for the bright top staircase, which you can tone down a little. ‒ |

What I like most of your post-processing is that the light on the buildings perfectly fits with the color of the clouds. I get the feeling that the photo was taken just after a rainstorm. I like the composition with its mix of trees and buildings, and I don't find anything that can improve it. |
