Nice capture of a street scene, where the young people look very engaged in their shopping. As in every street scene, you had to deal with a lot of distracting elements, but you handled them quite well. If you did some blurring of the background, I would suggest increasing it a tad: not much but enough to make the people in the background less obtrusive. Had you managed to get the full faces of the three people at left, it would have been a perfect image (but I know that this is almost impossible!). |

Yes, I noticed that you like to photograph flowers. What I like most here is the contrast between the white flower and the black background. The composition is very good, with the stem leading from the top left to the main subject. I don't mind the bud, even if it's not close to the flower, but I would crop from the top and the left (and also some from the bottom), getting an almost square image with less negative space and the flower and the bud very close to the power points. |

The original is quite a good image, but I like what you did with the mirror effect, including the B&W conversion. The picture is strange but it looks natural, and one has to look very carefully to notice the post-processing. To increase the natural effect, I would change some of the mirrored branches and leaves (in particular, at the top), so they don't look symmetrical. I agree with you that the photo is a little too dark, and would increase the brightness (and contrast) slightly. |

Another example where the colors of the sky make the image. Very interesting composition, with some foreground and the pier leading into the horizon and the rising sun. Here also I would slightly increase the brightness of the foreground, since it contains very interesting elements. Finally, I would straighten the pilings on the right, which were distorted by the wide-angle lens, so they look perfectly vertical. |

Interesting: a tourist in Venice complaining about other tourists! The composition is very good, with a beautiful sky. So, in this regard, nothing to say. I even like the extra sky at the top, even if it doesn't contain any additional information, and I don't mind the birds flying above the palace. You managed to get a lot out of the original, especially with the colors. One thing I noticed is some strong borders where the yellow part of the sky meets the orange part and the buildings below it; maybe you need to work a little on this. Also, I would open up more the main subjects (gondolier and palaces), so the viewer can see more details. |
