You achieved what you wanted with the post-processing of the original image. Colors are very natural, and the composition shows the petals "mothering" the stamens. I like the photo as it is. My only concern is that I find it oversharpened. This is perhaps because of the heavy cropping you did, but you might try to reduce it and make the image softer. |

You took one single flower with a smartphone and produced something very artistic. This is impressive, especially for someone that never uses his phone as a camera. Not much to add to all the positive feedback you have already received. If I had to suggest some improvement, it is to eliminate part of the negative space on the upper half left through cloning of another copy of the flower. An alternative would be to move the flower on the top left exactly to the corner, dividing the black space more evenly. |

Although very busy, I like the composition because it transmits the feeling of order within chaos. There are lots of geometric elements to keep viewers interested and make them go up and down the picture. I would crop the bottom part (just until where the lowest bulb shows), since it doesn't add much to the whole. |

It is an interesting picture, especially with the enhanced colors (I love rusty and strong colors!). I like the mixture of dead leaves and old (dead?) car. I don't mind the bumper in the composition. I try to understand why you have second thoughts on this picture, and I think that's because it's not balanced. There is not much on the right to counterweigh the strong, heavy, element of the light on the left. Try to crop it from the right to make it a square image (see results) and see if you like it better. Also, you can remove the leaf on the grid of the light. |

I was there in January 2017 and took similar photos from the Rialto Bridge. But this is something several notches up! With the HDR you captured all the interesting colors in the sky, the buildings, and the water. I especially like the warm reflection on the water on the bottom right. No one will think that this is HDR, with the gondola sharp, and the colors very natural. It's interesting that the remaining people and boats (even the bird!) are still sharp, in spite of being three exposures. Depth of field is very good, even with an aperture of f/5.6. I wouldn't change anything here. |

Mervyn, I showed the other ("original") photo so you could see how the monument looks like. For the submitted picture I stood on the other side of the monument, looking down at the shadow, which then showed upside down. That's why I flipped it vertically. |
