Hey Peter, well done. I've nothing to add other than what's already been posted. Classic image! |

Thanks Sheldon, I will try that. I will first do the black tones on the birds as the rocks are more grey and the birds more black. Appreciate the comments. |

Thanks Henry. It is an image that makes you explore individual scenes. That was an intent. I've seen other images like this that kind of challenges the viewer to look deeper and you did! |

Hey Henry, nice composition. Lots of nice geometry within the frame accenting the smaller falls that do complement the larger falls. I agree with Charles, the twig should be removed-my eye goes there and gets stuck. Given the original color you processed very well to bring out those shadows. Also, Murphy mentions the foreground rocks not being in focus. Can a different crop or slight vignette help? |

Well done Charles. Getting the geometry right of buildings can always be challenging. Very good composition and processing that really brings out the overall perspective of the subject and gives it the proper visual weight within the frame. |

Hey Nenette, nicely done. The B&W version really draws out all of the detail of the bubbles with the specular highlights of the background bubbles complementing them and then frames the little girl's face. Like it! |

Hey Sheldon. Visual impact is great. Saw this and I immediately thought "solitude". Nicely processed as the B&W really brings out shapes and textures. |

A nice image Murphy with lots of detail and feeling of time period; perfect for a B&W image. Bummer that it was moved on second visit. Been there myself. |

Hey Murphy, I like how you commented on both images as it is tricky to show wildlife in B&W vs. color. And yes it does draw you in to explore the individual birds as they sit on their eggs. An interesting fact is that these birds do not make a nest, hence it looks like they are just huddled against the rocks... |

Thanks Charles. Yes it is quite busy showing the multitude of Murres. Just no way around that. It is interesting upon conversion to B&W how the image does draw one's eye in to explore and understand what is presented. |
