Thanks Sheldon. Yes that is debris on the water's surface. I minimized it to a certain extent via post. Never considered the dust and scratch filter-will try it... |

Hello Henry! The 3-D effect is what jumped out for me. Always a challenge with a 2-D medium. To see this compared to the color image really shows the subject contrast. One would think this to be on an older building. The processing of the tonality is well done to make the sculpted relief stand out. Nice... |

Hello Nanette. Your compositional choice is very dynamic adding to the feeling of height and light due to your processing. Always tough to get the cupola done well but you have succeeded. |

Hey Sheldon, the image is vey contemplative and quiet. Great job in capturing and processing the high vs. low exposure components. I often will take individual/separate exposures to later merge in LR or PS. Not always accomplished though as you have said, noise can be your enemy. This image reminds me of an interior shot I did of a church-maybe I'll work it up for next month for the group. |

Hey Murphy, very nicely done. The B&W does the scene justice and gives it a timeless feel that goes well with older buildings vs. the color. The composition and processing are spot on. The fence takes your eye directly to the barn. I would imagine this image to be a good candidate for large print. |

Hey Peter, nice rendition and leading lines. I agree with Henry that a little more of the foreground would help one to feel more grounded. There is so much detail in those stones that maybe could be there to enhance the overall feel of the image. Tough shot though due to narrow streets... |

Good Morning All and thank you. Excited to be here. The comment about that dark leaf is significant-never really saw that but it makes sense now given the new perspective. It is like a black hole that sucks your eye in! |
