Hi Catherine, nice photo! I love that bridge. I agree with you that the clouds in the original are nicer. In Lightroom, you can select sky and invert to just lighten the exposure of everything but the sky. However, if the subject is the bridge, then you might want to crop the sky, even as much as 1/3 of it. The crane does add interest. I'm wondering what was at the bottom of the grassy hill and whether you could include it. |

Hi Ling Ling, I've never been to Bruges, but it looks beautiful. I like how Andrew cropped the left side. I wish I could see the top of the closest building on the right, because it looks like they have very interesting architecture there. It's a difficult shot. I can't decide if you should leave the people or take them out. I think I like the color better than monochrome because of the nice blues and yellows. Nice shot! |

Hi Don, I like everything you did here, especially after straightening the vertical lines. I use Lightroom/Transform to straighten lines. You could add a tiny bit more room at the top so that matting/framing won't cover the rooftop, but otherwise I wouldn't change anything. I like it in black and white. Well seen!
Maybe you can borrow or rent a zoom lens for your Galapagos trip. |

Hi Henry, very nice photo! I didn't know the Royal Air Force did this, too. And how cool that it's over Lake Superior so everyone can see! I recommend centering this a little more. That's it. I like the clouds as they are. I'm surprised you got such a clear photo at 1/750. I used higher speeds at an airshow. |

Hi Andrew, I think I'd prefer it if it was more dreamy-looking and soft. It kind of looks like a double image. I like ICM better with maybe a simpler subject (few objects and very distinct patches of colors) - thick tree trunks, soft sunrise sky, or maybe flowers. I'm very picky about ICM and abstract, though. |
