Hi Debby, I was skimming through some of the other groups' photos and thought this one was interesting. I was "Brookside Gardens" in the title and wondered if the photographer might be someone I know! Very clever photo! Welcome to PSA!

What a nice shot! Sorry you had to be in the rain for 5 hours to get it. I think you can crop some from the left, but I like where you have it cropped at the bottom. I think the right corner leads the viewer into the picture. Well done! |

Hi Ling Ling, I really like this photo! I think it looks like a painting, too, so I don't think it has to be tack sharp. I like the colors in it. I wonder if you can bring out more blue in the sky. I like the grass in the foreground just the way it is. And I agree with Catherine that the horizon needs to be straightened a little bit. You might play around with the image and apply painting effects to it somehow to make it look even more like a painting. |

Hi Don,
I like the picture. The sharpness of the water vs the skyline made me think that you had Photoshopped it or something. I was surprised it was "real". The color of the water is beautiful. There's a very tiny black spot at the far left edge in the water that could be cloned out. Also, there's some kind of glitch below the 4th skyscraper from the right where the foggy water meets the sharp water. It's in the original, too, so maybe it's not a glitch. Very nice! |

I like how there's separation of people and so many stories going on simultaneously. Everything looks sharp. It'd be cool to use this as a hidden item picture where you have to find all the items in the list. |

Hi Dean, our photos of the eclipse are almost identical! I'm in DDG #40 and have mine posted there. I took it in Waco, TX. We must have taken our photos at exactly the same time, too! Amazing! I took mine at 1/100 sec, f/8, ISO 100, 400mm zoom lens on a Canon EOS R6. Very similar settings to yours. I think you got a little more detail in the corona, and I got a little more in the prominences. Wow!
