Hi Catherine, I really like your photo. The left post could be straightened. I agree with playing around with color to make the colors pop a little more, and with trying monochrome. I like how Don cropped. You can do all kinds of things with this photo. Make virtual copies and then play around with each one - one monochrome, one color, various presets, etc. |

Hi Ling,
Very nice photo! The colors are really soft and nice. I agree with removing the rock in the bottom right and lightening the two top right rocks if possible. You might want to clone out the small black speck between the top rocks. You could try to blur the water using Lighroom's new blur tool. I haven't tried it yet. |

Hi Don,
Nice shot. Good job cloning out the scaffolding! You have a tiny fraction more on the bottom right side than on the left. Is it possible to increase the saturation in the windows to show the colors of the stained glass? I really enjoyed going through your entire website. Beautiful photos! I was just in the UK for the first time 4 years ago but only had 1 or 2 days in London. I'll never forget getting lost at St. Paul's Cathedral after walking across that darn pedestrian bridge and couldn't find my tour bus! |

Hi Henry, I agree about cropping off the bottom of the image - maybe up to the edge of the leaves on the left, and darkening the green leaves on the tree a bit, as Catherine had suggested. I think the horizon might be slanted a little. I wonder if clarity can be increased in Lightroom? |

Great use of black and white! I like how everything is in line, perfectly perpendicular, even the light pole shadow and the lines in the pavement. Maybe the black splotches could be lightened a little so they're not distracting, but also not completely gone so the image still looks realistic. Great photo! |

Hi Catherine,
Thank you. I made a few adjustments to set the prairie dog apart from the background but also not to change the color so much so you can still see the camouflage. Thanks for your comments!

Hi Henry,
Thank you so much! I made very small changes which Don had suggested, but not too much since you and others liked it as it was originally.
Thanks,
Janice |

Hi Julie,
I'm not very familiar with prairie dogs, either, and only saw them at the zoo and once in the wild on a trip out West. Their ears are very tiny and kind of flattened against their heads. I had no idea until I saw them out West that they're so destructive! They live in huge groups of maybe 100s and digs 100s of holes in farmland. But they're so cute!
Thanks,
Janice |

Hi Don, thank you. I'd love to visit that prairie dog place where you can pop your head up. Hahaha! I took your suggestions and made those adjustments. Thanks again!

Very nice shot. I like how you cropped and used monochrome. I like everything you did! It made me curious about how the brick was curved. Very interesting! |
