That's amazing! Don, I like your edits. Ling Ling, beautiful photo. You might consider cropping so the horizon isn't in the middle - maybe crop out the blue part of the sky - and see what you think.

Beautiful photo! The gold sky reflected in the water is very nice. The black clouds in the middle don't quite look real, maybe over-processed just a little bit? Makes me want to revisit Alaska. Nicely done.

Hi Henry,
Your photo is gorgeous, and your writeup is like poetry. I like the fog and the way you cropped. I think you can clone the top of the tree with the sky and copy it over to the top of the tree where it's clipped in either Photoshop or Lightroom.

I've never heard of pink-eared ducks, either. Very cool. Good catch. It's good that you took the photo at a high speed to freeze the action and try to get a clear photo, but unfortunately it's looks like he was a bit too far away since the eye and face aren't quite in focus, but very close! I like the way you cropped. |

Hi Andrew, nice photo! I like the edited version more than the original, especially the red color and blue sky. I didn't notice the engineer, though. Maybe add some vignetting, darken the left side (especially of the bright red train) and highlight the leading lines (tracks) toward the engineer to bring more attention to him. |
