12 Sep 25 Comment This is great Ally, I love a rodeo and this photo really tells a story. I don't get to go very often, but watching those little kids hang on to the back of a sheep for dear life is both scary yet I'm sure a lot of fun for the kids.

I particularly appreciate how you framed it so that the only thing in the photo is the activity surrounded by a lot of empty ground.

12 Sep 25 Comment The joy just radiates from the boy, and you ended up with a good placement of him in the photo. I don't think it would have been nearly as strong if he was in front of the people in the background.

The light looks pretty flat, but I think the photo would be stronger if you could light the boy and the foreground of the photo so it's a little brighter than the people in the background. I'm not suggesting anything heavy handed, but a subtle adjustment in light might make a big difference.

12 Sep 25 Comment Great creative idea Connie and a wonderful story about color.

It strikes me as something that might be challenging to photograph, but you've done a nice job. My only suggestion would be to try to take out that brighter white area just above the shiny silver area of the brush (may be some kind of reflection?). I don't notice any noise.

12 Sep 25 Comment I agree this is a truly wonderful moment. It does radiate pure joy. You did a great job of framing her between the white line of water at the top of the photo and darker area at the bottom where there is less water splashing. The cockeyed sunglasses are such a great unexpected touch. Sep 21st
12 Sep 25 Comment What a great photo and memory - and you did a really nice job of editing. Great light and catchlights in their eyes. I took up "serious" photography around 2012 and have never heard of the EasyShare.

That does look like a nice quality photo. At that time I was using some kind of early Sony digital camera to use on vacations. I dug it out and gave it to my granddaughter last Christmas, as apparently "vintage" digital cameras are really popular now. She loves it and I'm surprised at the quality of photos she takes with it.
