Thanks Ally. Body armor in battle is the way the photo struck me. |

Thanks Connie. I like your title; I hadn't thought of it but that lace-like pattern does resemble drops of water. I've been wanting to explore double exposures more, and I think I should look for some water droplet images to use. |

Thank you Carole. Your suggestions for how best to frame it I think are spot on. |

Thank you Lisa, although I couldn't agree that yours is any less creative! This was a good topic for creativity in general. |

A great take on the topic Srjan, and very well executed. You did a nice job on combining the two photos, and the waterfall was an excellent choice for the background. I also like your choice of black and white. I would expect a photo like this to be very colorful, and using black and white keeps the focus on the story. |

What makes this photo work for me is the color palette, and I love the background story you gave us about its creation. This is a very soothing image, one of those things you can enjoy looking at for a long time. The shapes suggests a lot of movement to me even though from what you described maybe nothing was actually in motion? Nice work Lisa. |

Another wonderful photo - and thank you for pointing out the "polar coordinates" in Photoshop; I'm sure it would be fun to play with. Although there is so much in Photoshop I know I'll never approach exploring everything.
He looks like a mouse to me with little round ears. |

Carole, I'm on the same page as the others. The original photo is great, and I love what you did with it. I never would have known it was a peacock feather. I find it interesting that Connie was reminded of sand dunes. I was reminded of a carpet from somewhere in Asia. The pattern is so striking. |
