Thanks so much Lisa. I have enjoyed playing more with this image as well, I love seeing other takes on photos. |

This is a lovely Christmas image Lisa, and I am also impressed at the way you captured such a nostalgic downtown scene with the snow in the foreground so perfectly in the ornament. Lovely photograph! |

I liked this image as soon as I saw it Connie, and would never have guessed that reflection is in a small puddle. To me it looked like a small area of a rocky inlet. You did a great job of removing that shadow on the rocks to the left; I didn't notice anything amiss even after you described everything you went through to fix it. It looks very natural. Nothing about the bright white in the rocks bothered me - my focus was on all the interesting details and color of the lighthouse - but I do agree that Carole's darkened version is probably better. |

I love this photo Carole, and in my view the small expanse of the water is a big part of its charm, as are those two ducks. I don't think it would have been as interesting without them. The ripples definitely add to the peaceful feel. Nice composition and well executed. |

Thank you Connie. This is one of those photos that you go back to and start to think, "I should have paid more attention to this the first time around." |

Carole, I am amazed at what a difference removing those small sky areas made in your photo, thanks for the tip and the suggested edit. I don't think it would have occurred to me on my own and it's such an improvement. |
