What a fascinating photo Ally; it drew me right in. That hillside almost looks like some kind of fabric. The amount of sky doesn't really bother me; I don't think the hill would be as compelling if it took up most of the photo. Really well done. |

Nice close-up Joan, it makes the texture and the contrast of the metal from the old car the star of the photo. And what great texture it is! I scrolled around the photo to look at it up close; you could probably get five interesting, unique abstract versions out of that one photo. Great image. |

Connie, I like everything about this photo - the subject, the way you shot through the window at the angle, and the black and white processing is a perfect match. Great work! |

Great image Carole-it tells a story, and it's so colorful. I also like the way you positioned the scissors and the crochet hook with the yarn bits so it all flows together as opposed to being separate elements of the photo. I do see some bluish tones in what I assume is white yarn-I was curious so I downloaded the image and tried warming it up using a white balance adjustment, but I thought the colors lost some punch as a result and it still didn't completely get rid of the blue. Any ideas what might cause that blue tinge? |
