Sorry to hear you are leaving the group. I like Bob's brighter version, but I find the bright light distracting. Did a quick remove in Photoshop. It would definitely need a better removal of the reflection than what I did. |

Thank you. Each edit has a different feel. I wasn't sure whether the bright areas added interest or distraction. |

I went back and forth with toning down the bright area but ended up liking my bright version better. Bob did a good job toning down the white. I'll try again on a cloudy day and hopefully get a better starting point. |

For this image, you have two options. You can retake, getting the entire area in focus, or crop. I did a cropped version, also reducing highlights and adding contrast. |

I would have left the grass and white pot as it is in the original. Maybe darken the eyes and crop a little off the bottom? Here is a quick edit. |

I like the tones. I (badly) removed the tree that's going out of the frame and lightened the lower left corner a bit. Also cropped but I'm not sure if that makes it any better. If I didn't crop, I would lighten the cloud in the upper right corner. |

I was going to suggest cropping off the ripples at the bottom of the image as they are distracting to me. Then I saw Joel had posted the same thing! I do like the red tones. |
