Nicely done. That black background is one of my go-to's for flower photography. I know you were limited with the light But I think it worked well regardless |

There's no wrong answer on the technique. I do a lot of the "black out" look with my fish photography. I basically create a black layer and mask out what I don't want. I go through that in my February article coming out in the next PSA Journal. |

Great job, Murph. I love the black BG. Did you knock out the flower and add the black or was it shot in controlled conditions, ie., studio.
BTW I was thinking of you when I added a border to my submission. ???? |

Nicely done. My eye is drawn to the lower right petal over the soft focus petal. I like the way that works out. Makes the focused petal pop. Good job. |
