Brad, I'm not certain either. My entire photographic journey is centered around the question, I wonder what would happen if... I enjoy taking techniques and trying to widen the range on how they're applied. I can sum it up with, well, it was worth a shot. lol Thanks for the comments. |

Hi Rick. I had the Nikon IR conversion called super color. The term Super Color refers to Infrared at 590nm. Most near Infrared photography is shot from the range of 400-900 nm. At 590nm (Super Color) you will get an image that has four color tones, Red, Yellow, Blue & Cyan. At the other end of the spectrum you get hard whites and blacks. Once you have captured the image in Super Color, you have many options in adjusting the tonality and color of various sections. I could have gone an entirely different direction with this but eye appeal kept me in the neutral color zone. The orange at the top is actually blue sky. To be 100% candid, I have been experimenting with HDR and IR with mixed results. In many ways, a properly exposed single image has often looked better than the HDR. Thanks for the comment. |

Hi Brad. Thanks for the mention.I've always enjoyed featuring architectural decay with photos. Excellent image. I love that tiny little green at the bottom of the image. Time to break out the macro. ;) And call me "Mo". Lol |

Thanks Ray. No matter how old we get, mom is still mom. Fond memories for both of us my friend. ;) |

I think it's called Fuchsia. There's 110 different "flavors" of the plant. I agree with Murphy on the background. |

Thanks Murphy. My mom bought me my first camera. I used to bring home all these terrible photos which she promptly hung on the refrigerator. ;) I really believe that support at an early age kept me interested in pursuing the hobby. |
