The small leaves in the center is actually the flower of the hydrangea. But I do appreciate your input. Thanks. |

I don't understand the two kinds of flowers. It's one plant. A hydrangea. |

Thanks Dan. I've tried the monochromatic IR images. My heads not there yet I guess. lol I've seen lots of great shots, I just haven't had any luck or desire to push that creative button. One day. ;) |

Judy, try some heavy backlighting. Either with a strong light powerful flashlight. Sunlight works but more challenging to position the ice. Keep going. |

Thanks Murphy. I don't take the IR camera out enough. It's the same thing about this time every year. All the flowers trees and grass are dead and I tell myself, next year it's coming out. Lol. |

I use the creative light infrared (CLR) software for post. One on the adjustments I'd color swap. It's likely just how it was interpreted by the software. As you are aware, chlorophyll reflects IR waves depending on the amount and intensity of the reflected light. I'll check out the filter you're using. I'd love to use my iPhone for that. Thanks for the feedback. |

I like the blending of shades of red. Very subtle but enough to make the berries pop of the image. Great job. ;) |

Very nice. So sad that we are out of the bees on buds season. Have you used the beta version of photoshop yet? |

Very nice. I saw a presentation on ultraviolet photography by Don Komarechka at the NECCC photo convention a few years back. Extremely interesting! I'm very much a "process" photographer. I like the planning and the steps to get a desired effect. Frozen flowers, stack photos, IR... I bought a couple of UV flood lights and tried setting up some flowers. I didn't have the filter, so I shot it with the IR camera. Results were blah. What I saw in that presentation was amazing. Thanks for sharing. |
