75 Nov 23 Comment The small leaves in the center is actually the flower of the hydrangea. But I do appreciate your input. Thanks. Nov 21st
75 Nov 23 Reply I don't understand the two kinds of flowers. It's one plant. A hydrangea. Nov 21st
75 Nov 23 Reply Thanks Murphy. I appreciate the second look. Nov 15th
75 Nov 23 Comment Is that blue in those leaves? lol Great shot. I like the textures and colors, including the blue. :)~ Nov 8th
75 Nov 23 Comment Thanks Dan. I've tried the monochromatic IR images. My heads not there yet I guess. lol I've seen lots of great shots, I just haven't had any luck or desire to push that creative button. One day. ;) Nov 8th
75 Nov 23 Comment Judy, try some heavy backlighting. Either with a strong light powerful flashlight. Sunlight works but more challenging to position the ice. Keep going. Nov 4th
75 Nov 23 Comment Thanks Murphy. I don't take the IR camera out enough. It's the same thing about this time every year. All the flowers trees and grass are dead and I tell myself, next year it's coming out. Lol. Nov 3rd

75 Nov 23 Comment I use the creative light infrared (CLR) software for post. One on the adjustments I'd color swap. It's likely just how it was interpreted by the software. As you are aware, chlorophyll reflects IR waves depending on the amount and intensity of the reflected light. I'll check out the filter you're using. I'd love to use my iPhone for that. Thanks for the feedback. Nov 2nd
75 Nov 23 Comment I like the blending of shades of red. Very subtle but enough to make the berries pop of the image. Great job. ;) Nov 2nd
75 Nov 23 Comment Very nice. So sad that we are out of the bees on buds season. Have you used the beta version of photoshop yet? Nov 2nd
75 Nov 23 Comment Very nice. I saw a presentation on ultraviolet photography by Don Komarechka at the NECCC photo convention a few years back. Extremely interesting! I'm very much a "process" photographer. I like the planning and the steps to get a desired effect. Frozen flowers, stack photos, IR... I bought a couple of UV flood lights and tried setting up some flowers. I didn't have the filter, so I shot it with the IR camera. Results were blah. What I saw in that presentation was amazing. Thanks for sharing. Nov 2nd
