Thanks for the input Dan. I like the drops. In fact it's not just water. I mixed some glycerine into the spray bottle. Makes the drops "stick." |

Thanks Ray. I've done this with quite a few plants, flowers and seeds (milkweed). I've also done it with tree fungus and moss. Some good results, some just too much color ruining the composition. I considered a tighter crop and held off because the stems in the back colored up nice. Thanks for the kind words and the suggestion. |

Very nice. Lovely lighting. Background blends nicely. Orchids are one of my all time favorite flowers. So much variety in color and shape. I got sucked in to buying Monkey Face Orchids online. Ended up being seeds. You don't plant orchid seeds like other flowers. My research showed some intricate set of steps. So I drawers the seeds. On a side note, they make bad frozen flower photos.

I'm in agreement with Murphy. I think the overall image would improve with a slightly tighter crop. Maybe to the bottom of the green on the left. I also like the main focus drawn to the lower right to upper left images. Very nice. Camera phones blow me away. Have you tried PicsArt? |
