It is fun and frustrating to frame the original image, and then to reframe the image when you go to print. It still amazes me how the meaning of an image can change so much. |

I will have to look into that. I am not very good at compositing. All of the crazy edges of the image are a result of how I apply the platinum/palladium solution. |

25600 is super high. Were the subjects moving? The composition is excellent and the colors are beautiful. You used your active framing very well. |

Did you push the colors? I love the shades of blue on the bird. I am not sure how to bring the steam out that would give the background some texture. You can try to burn the background. |

I have to agree the frame needs some space in the frame. It is no doubt that catching a flock of birds in flight cannot be easy. With most modern cameras you can crank up the ISO and shutter speed. I think you could push those settings and get a razor-sharp image that will freeze the motion more clearly. |

I hope you heal quickly! I find photography like a muse. You have to work on it for it to be stronger. Photography will still be here, take the time to heal that is what is most important right now.
I love the depth of field. It gives a nice separation between foreground and background. |

Thank you for the compliments. Do you source your chemistry from Bostic and Sullivan? I find the process very relaxing. I haven't tried the CYM part. I may give it a go. |
