Hi Donald,
A beautifully captured Dahlia which has been very well handled.
May I make one suggestion? As this subject has been so well taken would you consider enlarging the subject in the frame by cropping the image as shown? As you have presented it the subject takes up about 33% of the frame - in my view it deserves more than that.
What are your thoughts? |

Hi Charissa.
You have done an excellent job in arranging your flowers.
Also you have captured the subject in detail. Well done.
As I look at your image - for me the shadows do not do justice to your subject. If the opportunity arises would you consider moving the subject further from the wall, or using a backlight, which would remove the shadows?
This tyoe of arrangement looks great sitting on a mirror or black glass giving a relection. |

Hi Bev,
You have captured the agapanthus plant very well and with great colour. Well done.
In my eyes I would like to see your original image cropped from both top and bottom. I see the sky as a distraction and too much of the background.
May I suggest that the centre piece be brightened as also the stones etec in the foreground. |
