Like Yvonne I too like the background.
With an involved base of the plant it would very difficult by far to attend to remove all irrelevant parts. What I have done is crop upwards removing the more distracting parts and tightened up on the frame. |

Yvonne has made good comment re diffusing the light and I have taken Bev's comments on board and cropped down and also removed the two orange parts.
I am not sure why you have taken the rear view with all that light on the front of the iris. As I have previously outlined, and like Yvonne.I very much like the iris flower. |

I really like the positioning of the daffodils in your frame with each "looking" in different directions. Well done.
Would you consider cropping down and removing part of the sky? What I have done is exactly that and darkened the background a tad and added a vignette. This keeps the viewer centered on the blooms which I added a little contrast. |

I like to see people experimenting and coming up with something different. You certainly have done that. |

Hi Charissa
I really like your idea in creating this image - well done.
One concern I have that on my screen the image has a yellow cast which I have removed.
I have also tightened up on the image and have left the background its original colour thus separating the subject. |
