Thank you all for your comments. There certainly is room for improvement and I appreciate all of the positive suggestions made.
May I again make this point - from my experience over many years of photographing flowers I really encourage all to consider focus stacking. This gives great detail in the subject. |

Bev- I agree with the above comment re the importance of the bee.
The image appears to be very pixilated and perhaps cropped too much.
In a close up would you consider using F4/F8 which would result in a more sharper image? |

Charissa - you have captured a great variety of colour and if it was your intention to photograph a softer image you certainly have done so.
Would you consider to crop some of the top to balance the image with the bottom?
Well done. |

As I view your image there appears to be a shadow in the centre which divides your image.
Was there a reason to use F22 in a close up? This will result in a softer image and also too much DOF?
Would you consider using F4-5.6 and get in closer to the subject? In my view this would give you a better close up image. |

You have captured the flower very well and it appears sharp.
In my view for what it is worth there is far too much black and the flower is not shown in full.
Tom would you consider cropping in tighter to show the sharpness and great colour and detail that you have? and it also removes a lot of the black background. |
