Thanks Maria for your comments. I thought the yellow patch gave a little more depth to the photo but I see now it also might be a distraction too. As I noted in my reply to Jerry that I actually reduced the overall saturation, however perhaps I need to do a selection mask too. |

Cindy, as others have said ... great capture and processing it too. A real "stunning" photo. |

Maria, a difficult situation indeed and you still got a stellar bird in flight capture. I really like the overall smooth feel of the photo as presented. |

Yes Adrian, a very excellent bird in flight capture. I suspect if you tried to increase your focal length as you are shooting, you might have missed the shot. I know I have done that in the past. ;) |

Jerry, I actually decreased the saturation in processing. The reeds were really bright and saturated green at that moment. It was a really a blue and clear sky day too.
Thanks for your suggestions and comments. I will give another go at processing it. |

A cute one for sure and I would guess a very active one to boot. Good capture. The plain background was it the sky? If so neat to get it so isolated from any background clutter. |

Bruce, nice sharp capture of the bird. Jerry's suggestions sounds great but I sort like it the way it appears now but then again I like to show the environment of the birds as I found it. |

Looks like you have the photo enhancement tool kit. Nicely done. Did you just do all the adjustments or shortly after you made the photograph? I have also been going back to some of my photos made over the years to see if I overlooked or undervalued those previous captures. Especially since the editing software has changed drastically over the years. |
