Cindy, nice bird in flight capture, as we all know not an easy task. I like a little shadow in shots like this for it gives a "real" visual feel to it for my eyes do not have "shadow reduction" option. ;) This reminds me of my "first" successful bird (Bald Eagle) in flight with blue sky background. It has a shadow of the Eagle's head in the wing which I really like and feel fortunate to capture many years ago. |

Adrian, yes indeed you caught the action. I may be tempted to tone down the swirling water a bit with one of the many tools in LR/PS. No matter it still is a very nice photo as presented. |

Bruce very nice "action" capture and composition with the blurred corn stalks. Going to this area is on my bucket list for others have shown there are great opportunities to be had as you demonstrate with this photo. |

Jerry ... great capture and processing. Very appealing and attention grabbing photo. Thank goodness we have cameras today shooting many frames per second and resolution which allows cropping when one is not on top of subject but the "eye" of the photographer is still the most important as you have demonstrated in all of your posts. |

Thanks for your generous comments.
I have been to TRNP several times, late spring, summer, and now fall. I think late spring/early summer is best for things are greener and seeing wildlife especially the "wild" horses when you will see the "newly born". I travel almost exclusively by motor home with flat-towing a Jeep and try to visit places on the way/back. North Dakota is mostly very flat except when you get close to the western part which is were TRNP is located. PLUS lots of spots to see the bird migration in process spring/fall which I plan to do in 2025/2026. I will be posting more of my travel photos on my flickr later this month or next. :) |
