Thanks to you all for your nice comments. It was an exciting time to be able to capture these magnetic birds and I anxiously/hope for their return. :) |

Thanks, Marge. It was a nice honor to be asked to submit for the showcase. He walked into the photo as I was making a photo of the fog and lighthouse. It was a very pleasant surprise and I wonder too about what he was thinking. |

In my opinion this appears to be a young female, hence, not quite the color of an older bird which accounts for the lack of robust color along with the time of day. However you did capture a great moment. I really like the blur background colors which complement the bird. |

You captured the "street walking photography style" moment of a cute shore bird. The light capture was very nice with subtle processing. I too would suggest bit of crop off the top and show a bit more on the bottom, assuming your original capture has a bit more to show on the bottom. |

Great moment to capture and then followed up with great processing. Yes the software today does help for those far away moments plus thank goodness for the modern day lens and cameras too. |

Love the capture and the exposure right ON. No suggested improvements needed. Waiting for my nest boxes to become active. |
