Thanks to you ALL for your gracious comments. I was told the person who purchased the print was giving it to his parents for their 50th wedding anniversary. I feel privileged and humbled. |

Marge ... Great "action" capture. Your editing of the background was spot on. I am big fan of capturing the "common" bird species for it is remarkable how beautiful they are when you take a closer look. |

Marge ... nice capture and editing considering the birds location. Shots like this are a great reminder of the moment we have had with them which in my opinion is the most important. |

Adrian ... Beautiful capture of a beautiful bird. The square crop does isolate the bird from its location so mission accomplished. I might have left in a bit more of the branch on the left to give a bit of room to move into and also bit more on the right too for feel of where it came from. |

Sanat ... I agreed with the color balance and vertical cropping as noted by others. Thanks for sharing a magnificent bird species that most if not all of us would never see let alone photograph. |

Bruce ... right on with the focus and exposure of the "cutie". Reminds me of a Barred Owl photo I made where the landing spot was not ideal (branches in front) but it is their environment so we just have to wait and hope for a clearer landing or get what is given. |

Jerry ... unlike some others I have never there and probably will not for Florida is a state I have and plan to avoid despite the fabulous bird photography opportunities. ;) Your final photo in my humble opinion looks good and I applaud your patience/skills for the editing. |

Bruce ... Thanks for your comments. In Wisconsin along the Mississippi the Eagles are abundant and I too counted over a 100 during a January a year or two ago. I love it ... they are truly a magnificent species. One of the great success stories of our wildlife preservation policies. |
