I love bird captures with their environment being prominent component and out of focus background really enhances it all. Great job in capture and the processing. |

As someone who has waited in one position for over two hours waiting for a Snowy Owl to fly or do something other perch on power box, I know the pain. ;) Nice capture given the situation you were presented. |

Nice sharp in motion capture. Unfortunately never been to Costa Rica ... so I am jealous of apparently the numerous opportunities for bird photography there. In my opinion you nailed it both in the original capture and your crop. |

Yes WOW and congrats in capturing the detail/color of the bird. Too bad you did not have a 15 foot ladder handy ;) ... but hey you did an excellent job in the capture from your lower position. Nice processing in bringing out the colors. |

The one eye capture ... really made me look to be sure my eyes were not failing. :)
Owls, in my opinion, are difficult to find and get one in flight is really special moment. Congrats on you being ready for the moment. |

Very neat "action" capture of a pair of beauty. White is always a difficult challenge and you met the challenge. I too like the square crop. |
