Thanks Frans. It is a difficult image and all suggestions are correct. it will never be a winner but I love the documentaire story in the image.
Sometimes I digital paint.
I painted now digital the image and will print it on a HAHNEMÜHLE Canvas Metallic.
Hope you like it. :-) |

Hi Kirk, Nice picture and indeed seems to be a nice place to go to. Love the colours and composition. I just think that the front of the image should be darker so that my eyes goes immediately to the arch while now I look first to the bottom of the picture and then look to the arch. But well done. |

Hi Frans, Always a pleasure to see pictures from an angle we are not used to see. Nice colours, and you keep searching in the picture what happens, the structures , lines, light and shadows. the balloon makes it complete. Top. |

Hi Geoff,
I am convinced that this a memorable and rugged Australian outback experience. A nice documentary picture that shows us that it can be impassable due to high water levels sometimes. Would love to see a serie of pictures of this adventure. :-)
Have a nice and lovely year end.

Hi Pierre,
Love this picture. Tall, moss-draped oak trees creating a picturesque canopy overhead. Did me think about "The Dark Hedges" the most instantly recognizable of all film locations in Northern Ireland used in Games of Thrones.
Well done.
Also have a nice and happy year end.

Hi Tami,
Indeed a very nice picture of a lovely city.
Cities at night are always a pleasure to look to. Well done.
Please keep Sharpness under control.
In Camera? Check settings is if you work in jpg.
In Photoshop or Lightroom RAW? Please sharp your pictures always before export to jpg.
Lens with VR?
If you make your images with a tripod and lens has an optical stabilisator then switch of the stabilisator off.
Just some ideas to find the reason why we see soft images while I am sure they are not. :-)
PS. camera's always make standard to soft images.
Keep delivering us the great city shots.
Thanks and have all a nice year end.
Stefaan

Hi Kirk, Indeed it is a busy image without directly an eyecatcher. It's an image where you keep finding new interesting points. It is more a documentary picture than a competition image. I even have create a digital painting of it. |
