Hi Kirk, Nice place and well done with the composition. Nice colors, sky , trees and rocks and maybe even in BW it can be great. But what I am missing is a little bit sharpness. Maybe it is only a conversion / export issue. As the speed is 1/500th this should be ok, the F5,6 aperture in landscape is to low. Was there a lot of wind? As Frans mentioned be careful with some features of photoshop or Lightroom for halo issues. |

Hi Frans, I love this picture in BW and indeed eliminate the other boaters is a good idea. Only with the kayak in color you make the focus on them. It is the first object your eyes detect while for me personally I believe the Halong Bay is more interested and my eyes should go first their and then to the kayak that gives a dept to the picture.

Nice shot. Have the feeling I am inside a GOLD mine. :-)
And indeed the visitors in the picture shows how huge this tunnel is.
Well done in a very difficult light situation.

HI Pierre, I see what attracted you. And your HDR is good. Only for me to much grey water and sky and not enough nice details of buildings with your beautiful Blue moon in orange. |

Well done Tami. It is for me one of the most difficult object to photograph as it su huge. With the red helicopter red forefront and nice shadows you create a nice dept and brought the size of the canyon in the picture.
