Thank you Frans, Geof , Kathryn, Frank and Kirk. probably your comment is also the reason why this image is accepted a lot but never with awards. Wil travel again and see if I can make it different. See here the bridge from left to right. :-) |

The bridge is 5022 meter long.
So not easy to have it on one shot.
There was wind but I have a hook where I put my photo bag or sand bag on it.
Manfrotto 055PROB.
Is a competition stars maker but not yet a real winner. Medals.
Thanks for the kindly words.

Hi Kathryn,
As mentioned to the others I try to write in English as kindly as possible.
This is not my native language and I apologize if it is not always perfectly and softly written.
First impression, a love this picture.
From the first moment it takes me totally in the picture. My eyes or going first to the little island with the trees and then I start looking to other places in the picture.
Means for me the composition is great.
Sharpness is fine. Light for me is super.
Be always careful with halos (white or black fringe) with mountains and buildings and bright sky when using photoshop or Lightroom.
I would try it it BW too to see what it gives.

Nice portrait of a person and a camel in the desert at golden hour.
Gives it a beautiful nice and soft colours.
Sharpness and composition is fine.
Welldone.
Nothing else to say.

Hi Frans,

My opinion is that Waterfalls should have been taken with long Exposure tools. tripod and ND filters.
If you use a model to make it special then the setup should be different now I think it is a tourist or family/friend but it doesn't make the picture better. (if you want that it is for a PSA competition)
As you wrote you needed a lot of efforts already to make it presentable.
I see that you took it with a 1/30 sec at 3.2 aperture at iso 100. No tripod I think.
Or you frees the waterfall and need higher speed and better sharpness (dept of focus) with aperture of 8 or 11 at a higher ISO .
Or you work with a tripod for sharpness at a much slower speed with long exposure ND filters.
Composition is nice.
And the place looks lovely to go back and make lovely pictures. |

Nice shot.
Perfect sharpness and light over the whole picture, no white or black spots without details what is no easy.
Personally, I miss some action or a thing on(in) the water to make it a super foto.
Like a fishing boot or tree or rock or ...
Well done.

Hi Kirk,

Beautiful place and at the right time "golden hour".
Also well done for the point of view.
The 2 Chimney Rocks seems to be very sharp and in the right color.
Means based on your aperture that you focused on sharpness of the rocks and not on sharpness of a max of field +-f/16.
Some questions I have is :
Did you need the Topaz Sharpen AI for the rocks sharpness?
You made a panorama and show us a crop of it, why did you changed your mind between making of the picture and processing the picture?
Did you made more than one picture with different aperture settings?
Also a nice environment to take pictures with "long exposure ND filters" so the clouds in the sky becomes in an more ART view (You can post processing this in PS too).
Thank you to learn me this place.

I love these soft colors and the lines of the bridge and the foreground.
The reflection in the smoothed water of the lights makes it very beautiful.
I do have a feeling that the photo is not sharp which would be a pity.
Image is too small 640 X 427 to properly assess this.
Wonder if 126 sec isn't a bit long?
How did you calculate this? Light meter?
Have you not done some bracketing ex. 10 sec, 30 sec, 60 sec….
What kind of tripod did you use and was there any wind?
Hanging weight on the tripod for more stability can help avoid camera shake.
Do not use the push button either. Use the start and stop of the photo via a remote control if possible.
Nice place to make long exposure pictures.
