I love the geometric pattern. Good job of capturing an interesting image in an unexpected location |

Very nice image. One of my projects for 2026 is to learn how to correct distortion from similar images. I was looking back through some of my shots from a recent trip and found that several were taken from a similar angle. |

Ruth, nice job of capturing the moose -- mother and child. I like the crop and your processing. Did you think about removing the clump of grass from the background? |

Mary Ann, thank you for your comments and revisions. I couldn't decide whether or not to leave the island on the right side of the image in the crop or not. I think that it's a distraction now that I see your edit. I also processed the image in black and white. The vote here was to go with the color version. Let me know what you think of the b/w version. |

Andres, very nice shot of the cicada. You have captured its beauty and made me forget their noise and what they do to our plants. I see that you shot at f/4. Sometimes, I find that I have to shoot at a higher f-stop to keep my macro images in focus. The background still blurs. I will admit that macro photography is a work in progress for me. I hope to focus a bit more on it this spring when our bees get active. |
