Oh my, I'll have to share something with the group. To be honest, street photography is an area where I'm definitely weak. I guess that it would be okay to submit a picture of a vendor that I took at an open market a couple of months ago. Didn't ask her permission to take a photo, just snapped it as I walked by. Otherwise, I'll have to take some city shots the next time I'm in DC or San Francisco. |

Thank you very much for your kind comments. If I get a chance, I'll have to play some more with this shot. My wife is the gardener in the family, so I'll have more chances to work on my macro technique with her flowers. I'll remember to look for other things in the flowers to make them more interesting. |

Thank you for your comments and suggestion. I like your background change -- better for this photo than our kitchen walls!
I went to a lecture on Macro Photography by Mike Moats this Fall. He prints out background to place behind his subjects. I was thinking of doing it later in the spring when the bees start visiting the hydrangeas. |
