Thanks Ruth! It does look better with the bird flipped. I'm not planning on using this image in any competitions. Actually, I'd never tried doing that in Photoshop, so it was educational to try and recreate your image. I wonder if we did the same thing. I selected the bird using object selection, pasted it into a new layer, deleted it from the original layer, and then used generative fill to replace what I had removed. Anyway, here's what I ended up doing. |

Actually, I didn't know that. Thanks! Street photography just is one of my weak areas. |

Joan. Sliding the clarity slider to the left gave your image a painterly (is that a word) effect. It appears that the leaves in the foreground were out of focus; however I think that makes the image more interesting. |

I agree. I think that he was posing for you. Nice job. You've reminded me to get out a try to capture some more photos of the herd here in the suburbs. |

What an adventure! I played around with generative expand and rotating the image a bit. To be honest, I wasn't satisfied with the result, so I didn't share it. You might have some fun playing a bit more with the image. |

I too prefer the image in monochrome. I prefer the crop that removes the trees. Wondering how it would look if you added some sky with generative expand in Photoshop |

Great shot! I can't believe that you were able to catch it surreptitiously. You've mastered catching images with the fixed focal length of the Q3. Did you think about removing the sign on the wall? |

Great shot. At first, I thought it was waves... |
