3 Aug 24 Reply Thanks Michael. I removed the people and the boat. Did a B/W conversion with
Silver Effects, but didn't have much time to play with it. What do you think?

3 Aug 24 Comment Kieu-Hahn, great job capturing the colors and the texture of the leaves. Aug 15th
3 Aug 24 Reply Michael, are you doing image stacking in Photoshop or are you using stacking software like Helicon Focus? I attended a presentation last week on macro photography of bees and insects. More things for me to try. Aug 15th
3 Aug 24 Comment Ruth, great job of capturing the columbines. I prefer the black background to the original because it brings out the colors of the flowers. I was curious what the image would look like in portrait and flipped it 180 deg from the original. Mostly, this was an opportunity for me to try and figure out how to create a border in Photoshop. 3 Aug 24 Reply Michael, thanks for the tip on using gmail. I have run into problems with that dropdown box in Apple Mail downsizing my images. Even though, I select "Actual Size," there seems to be a gremlin that changes it. Thanks for catching that the image was too small. Aug 15th
3 Aug 24 Comment Michael, I enjoyed your article in Photo.com and thanks for sharing some of them with our group. You have achieved your goal of only seeing through the lens with the self-portrait. Aug 15th
3 Aug 24 Comment Andres. I like your original image a bit better than the original crop. I wonder if a smaller aperture might have given you a crisper image. The shutter speed of 1/1600 or 1/2000 might have ended up with more noise; however, I'd bet that Topaz AI would be able to take care of it. Aug 15th
3 Aug 24 Reply Thanks Mary Ann. I uploaded it directly. I think the problem is with my email program. Aug 15th

3 Aug 24 Comment Thanks for looking at this image. I'll try uploading it directly. Sometimes the email program on my Mac downsizes images, and I miss seeing it. Aug 15th
