I like the mirror image flip. The bigger part of the flower hangs down. |

Thought about your suggestions and did a mirror image flip on my iPhone. I do like the leading line going from left to right |

Very nice. Especially the black and white conversion. |

Love Bodega Bay. One of our fondest memories was a horseback ride on the beach there. |

It's a great shot and great job on the editing. I am amazed at the dynamic range that your camera was able to capture. Also, I don't see any noise at ISO 640. Out of curiosity, would you have considered bracketing the exposure and creating an HDR image. Just a question and not a suggestion. |

Hmmm? I'm not sure about the rotation of the photo. I do like the border. I'd be curious to hear what others think. I have lots to learn on composition. |

Thanks. One of my photographic goals for the next year is to get away from spray and pray and learn to pause, take time to set up the shot, and check the shot afterwards. I was shooting in aperture priority and forgot to stop down after the shot before this one. Oops. I also didn't check for blinkies afterwards.
I wasn't able to correct the blown out highlights and keep them looking natural. I considered trying to clone them out, but gave up.
Good call. I found out the Okra flower is a member of the Hibiscus family. We grew Okra in the garden one year; however, I don't remember any of the flowers. I grew up eating okra. I think that it's an acquired taste and a Southern thing. |
