What an amazing shot, Roy, and at 1/200! Were you lying down for this shot? I love the angle of it. Great shot. |

What an amazing image, that would have been incredible to witness. The reflection looks fantastic. Is it possible to sharpen the bird a little more? That's the only thing I would suggest. |

Interesting shot and know it's difficult when they're so high up but think you have managed it well. I agree with Roy about darkening the sky a bit. |

Thanks Julia, it's my favourite camera for birding and goes with me everywhere. Very lightweight too. I have a review at https://dandenong-ranges-photography.com.au/nikon-coolpix-p950-camera-review/ which helps explain the camera. |

I hadn't really noticed it either but then again, so used to seeing them sitting on branches of trees, that it is just part of the scene. But understand and thanks for pointing that out. |

I think it's a good shot and well done, getting it coming towards you. I'd lighten it up a bit so the head and shoulders aren't quite so dark. Otherwise, I think it's great. |

Thanks Sylvia. We still have lots of clean up to do but our house is safe, thankfully. And I can get out and about again, which is good for the soul and mind, not to mention the body!
Glad you like this pic. One of my favourite recent shots. |
