Thanks Roy. We have the Australian Ibis which is probably closer to yours although they have a black beak, head, feet and tail.
It's interesting to see the different variations from around the world. |

Thank you Kathleen. So you know the Dandenong Ranges? That's where I live.
This image was taken at the Western Treatment Plant which is about 100km west, over the other side of Melbourne, at Point Wilson, near Werribee. |

Hi Kathleen, what a wonderful opportunity. I find the image is rather washed out. I have played with it in Lightroom, dropping the highlights and white and adding a bit of dehaze. Not sure if it's helped much, but just a thought. Although uploading it here, it seems to have added a hue around the head - probably enhanced it I think. |

Hi Roy, we have birds here in Australia that are so similar to these. Always fun to photograph. I love the blur of the front wing, while the head looks fairly sharp. I would have perhaps given it a bit more space on the right but otherwise it's good. |
