I like the "old world" quality of the winery and leading lines of barrels and cement.I found the overhead bright light on top border to be a bit distracting.Think you could direct more attention toward the lighted stack of barrels and still maintain the interesting composition. |

Jack, after first viewing your image,I thought you tilted the phone to create a diagonal image to encompass the interesting clouds! The angle of the hill and converging lines really produced a dynamic feeling and perspective. |

Kieh-Hanh,Like the composition with chairs and table.I agree with you about keeping the portion of the blue wall for the 3D effect. What about cropping a little tighter on the upper left corner? |

Ruth,I like the simplicity of this seasonal image yet the branches are quite complex.I found the silhouettes to be interesting in contrast to the clouds.Perhaps, crop the bottom a bit to focus on the abstract features of the branches? |

Hi Steven, Glad you asked the question about long exposure. The Google cell has a setting for long exposures.Usually get a smooth appearance with movement in the image. The sea was pretty calm, but I was going for the moving clouds to create an impressionistic painting effect.I think it all depends on the algorithms at the time which can be highly variable depending on the focal length, lighting, and exposure.I'm still working on getting consistent results. |
