Kieu-Hanh,Thanks for the unique view and botanical story of this rare plant.I appreciate the partial view of the stone railings which helped to provide a sense of scale. I would like like to see more of the inner blossom patterns with a less distracting background if that was possible from a different angle and lower perspective. |

Ruth,I really like your composition and textures.Thought that the stages of the developing flower were a high point.I'm curious,did you plan that?.I agree with adding a bit of space between the petal and left margin. |

Hi Susan,,I think this image is very pleasing.I agree with the odd number of birds,and clean unobstructive sandy "shore"foreground and background wave action.Even the gulls add more interest since they appear to be at different levels of development from immature to mature seagulls?Think I would crop the top a bit to just above the highest wave and just past the level of the dark line in sand in foreground. |

I like the perspective behind the band.Your photo has so many layers.The instruments in the foreground,the street markings,the wrap around audience,and colorful buildings and banners in the background. Well done! |

Hi Kieh-Hahn and everybody else.I guess I'm outnumbered on this decision.My idea was to add a pop of color because it was a monotone beach background and Remy has to be close to us with the leash situation on a public beach.I wanted to show the close proximity which is usually for a typical beachwalk.I included the partial view of the toes(my wife's) obscured by sand and I liked the way the toes pointed toward Remy.Thanks for all of your complementary comments about Remy,and I'll try to do better next time with my main subject🙂 |
