I liked the dynamic feel of this image. The repetition of stripes on the uniforms commanded my attention.Glad you cropped out the straight lines of the floor from the original. |

I really appreciate the diagonal patterns of the B&W image.I like the contrast of the golden sand and would like to see that in a diagonal.I think the shoe was interesting as well but show a bit more of it for scale and alter the pattern. Getting back to your initial question,I think the B&W image could be improved with increased
contrast.Perhaps, the ridge of sand could be selectively brightened in the upper right hand corner which would show more contrast?,Also, adding the ridge brightness might break up the pattern which would add more interest? |

Glad you included the sparkling leading lines of water in the foreground.Looks like a beautiful location and interesting pier. The leading line of perched birds added interest to the patterns of the pier.I think I would crop the top of the cloudless sky a bit,so the horizon does not split the image in the middle.I would favor leaving in more of the foreground.

I like the splaying of the claws,it's a great picture of your cat,Buttercup. This is an effective decisive moment capture. The fur contrasts nicely against the green background of the carpet.I too would recommend a healing brush because I tend to look at the brown triangle in left lower corner. |

I liked the capture of the seller in the rain in the original photo.I too would like to see more of his arm and the package.I especially liked seeing his feet and wet sandals which added to the story.
