86 Dec 23 Reply Jack,thanks for your comments about the organic shapes.I had to crop close to the left edge because there was some debris in the frozen layers.The dark background looked simple but yet complex,I'm glad it still worked based on your observations. Dec 18th
86 Dec 23 Reply Steven,Thanks for your comments.I'm glad you mentioned the juxtaposition of the warm and cool colors.When I first saw this yellow leaf suspended in the pond,I thought it was white plastic sheeting in the water.After further investigation,I discovered it was layers of ice.Yes,the background crystals reminded me of interstellar space as well.
