Just gorgeous Julia! I have not seen a painted bunting and loved seeing your beautiful capture of its striking colors, finely detailed feathers and that awesome eye rimmed with contrasting red/orange! |

Dr. Ernoe ~ Some day I will get a shot of a bird with baby on board! In the meantime I thoroughly enjoyed seeing yours!! I do like Butch's crop as it maintains the fine detail and elegance of the whole Grebe while also giving more focus to the little one. |

I love your curious owlet! I like seeing the full owl in its habitat. Removing the thin bright twigs to the right might be less distracting, or maybe reducing their highlights. Lucky you to get that shot! |
