What a splendid image!! The lineup of the chicks for mealtime looks choreographed.:) The image belongs on the cover of National Geographic! Could you share your focal length and aperture? |

The patterns of the Loon are dazzling, plus the brilliant red eye and topped with a baby on board. What could be better!:) |

Julia ~ firstly I love the title! Your image is sharp, vibrant, with both the skimmer and fish perfectly posed. Excellent!! I would probably remove the greenery at the top of the skimmer's head. |

I like the crop as is. It gives perspective to the adorable tiny wren, while highlighting the finely detailed textures of feathers and wood. The lower right corner is a little distracting and might benefit from being darkened. |

You beautifully captured this kestrel's successful catch. :)
I agree that the late afternoon light brings out its vibrant colors, especially highlighting the kestrel's face. I use Lightroom which also should easily remove the branch, using spot removal. It even has an AI choice although probably not needed in this situation. |
