Of course, the eye and catchlight between feathers is stunning! The sharp yellow talons are impressive! I also like the lower foliage removed as it looks more free flying. Love it! |

I agree that the image is just a bit soft, but I would be very happy to catch that beautiful image of the osprey hunting! :) |

I did spend time waiting for the birds to look my way. Thank you for your suggestion of playing a call to get their attention if needed. I have the Merlin Bird App but had not thought of this! |

What a beautiful kingfisher!! I love its vibrant iridescence against the soft background, and the cool spiderweb! I wish the eye was a little brighter but of course it is in shadow. Blurred wings can look very artistic, and I hope to try some intentional blurring when the light is too low for a high shutter speed. |

I love the brilliant jewel tones in this image ~ sapphire blue, gold and the emerald, green eye! It wonderfully shows the Anhinga's commitment and skill in nest building. You captured a beautiful wing position as well. Just lovely!! |

Wow, that Short Toed Tree Creeper is perfectly camouflaged on the tree bark. They were made for each other! :) It's a wonderful and creative shot!! Just wondering if it might have been beneficial to try a slower shutterspeed and lower the ISO a bit? I really enjoyed seeing this image!! |

Thank you Butch! Yes, I agree with your suggestion to have more direct eye contact from the birds. Next time I will keep a closer eye on their eyes! ;) |
