What a creative image Dr. Ernoe!! I love the sharp, fine back-lighting around the cormorants and their intense connection over the desired 'treat'! The streaks of rain coming down and soft foreground are lovely. Thank you for sharing a technique I have not seen, with theater spotlights and a special hide. |

I was happy the Blue Heron got a good meal, but seeing the droplets of blood made me feel for the colorful Blowfish. Ah, that is nature, and your image tells the story so well!!

Beautiful image Julia!! The cormorant looks so serene with outstretched wings and steady gaze. The curved branch and soft grass perfectly suit the contemplative scene. I might raise the exposure just a bit. |
