I only observed that as it is something I often do! 😠We often do not know the circumstances when a bird will suddenly appear and we do our best in the moment! |

Thank you Peter. I do not know my juvenile gulls and am always happy to learn something new! :) |

The long exposure time really adds an artistic look to the image! I will keep it in mind if I come across a similar situation. The detail showing the Dipper's delicate feathers and tiny water droplets is lovely! Well done!! |

I love how the 3 chicks are tucked into the dad's feathers, each chick's personality on display! The light hitting the dad's rusty head and tail feather adds a nice glow. I like the small amount of exposure Roy added to the eye. Super shot!! :) |

What a lovely shot of the juvenile red-headed woodpecker! I especially like the dappled light that highlights the red markings around its eye. It's turned head makes me want to know what it sees 'over there'! Fine details in feathers. |

Great capture of an egret in a tree! A rare site for me too. I like your showing of the original and how you cropped it. Maybe you could have used 400mm focal length? Also, I might lower the highlights a bit. |

Ron ~ fabulous Puffin image! Was it a long wait to get on one of the daily boats to Machia Seal Islands? It was worth whatever it took to get you there. The bold black, white and orange colors are striking, and the full beak of fish clearly shows the puffin's can-do personality! :) Perfect composition and detail. |
