I thought it was a sparrow but have looked it up in my bird book and sure enough it appears to be a house wren! Thank you for your observation ~ I always like to learn something new!! :) |

The soft blur of the fledgling's wings and wide-open beak really capture its eagerness to be fed!! It motivates me to consider long exposures more often. The beautiful soft green bokeh makes the buntings pop. Lovely image!! |

I agree with Roy that capturing the raindrops with a slow shutter speed makes the image unique and the giving of the 'mating present' even more delightful! I love how the falcon's feathers look so detailed, yet so soft. Such a sweet moment and beautifully presented! |

The heron's capture of the fish comes to life in your photo! I love the positioning of the heron's wings, the alignment of the fish (including water droplets) and the splash of water at the heron's feet. Well done! |

Photographing a water bird with baby on board is definitely on my wish list! We don't have loons here, but I wish we did ~ beautiful colors and markings. Is that a female? Super capture of an intimate familial bond!! |

Wow, how cute is that! It's the eyes, it's the eyelashes, it's the cheeks! Nice and sharp, great eye catchlights and definitely up close and personal. Really fun shot! |
