Thanks Sylvia ~ I love it! :)
How did you add the letters to the photo? I like how they matched the swans' beaks. |

I love your artistic Skimmer water color ~ definitely worth the 20 hour learning curve! The position of the 3 skimmers evokes movement. The primary bird being a tad sharper is nice with the overall softness of the composition. I think it would print beautifully on a soft, slightly textured paper. |

I love the shot as is! The open space is a beautiful green and the crop creates a nice diagonal in the composition. I do not mind the leaf on the left not fully shown. It is soft and accents the beautiful bird on the vibrant and detailed leaves. |

Exquisite detail in the bold yellow feathers and sharp eye! The patch of blue tail feathers and blue sky makes a perfect contrast. I can't help but wonder what color the top of the macaw parrot is? The diagonal of the wings makes a strong composition. Lovely! |

I like the crop Hans did, really focuses on the sporty mergansers and gives them room to swim. I love seeing the resting merganser next to the one showing off! :) Maybe a little more DOF would have had the front merganser a little sharper? Great shot! |

Wonderful capture of an elusive bird! The colorful kaleidoscope background is fun yet soft enough to keep the kingfisher the star. Excellent composition and detail, especially for being on the fly so to speak. :) Good reminder to listen!! |

Adorable! I grew up at Lake Tahoe (mountains) and robins were always a welcome sight in the spring. You nicely captured its personality with worm in beak and catchlight in eye. It looks pretty pleased with itself! |

The mute swans were at Mather Lake which is near where I live in Rancho Cordova, California. It would be fun to see an image of an Australian black swan if you might like to share one sometime! :) |

I appreciate your positive feedback! I agree the light in the center background is distracting and better cropped out. |

Thanks Sylvia! I experimented with a couple crop variations. I am glad to have everyone's suggestion on this, and your version won! :) I can see that it focuses better on the swans. |
